Sorry you might just have to settle for a 10/10. As with all the Eldrazi spells they are even better value because you can fetch them up with From Beyond. Under no circumstances whatsoever should you play the Honored Hierarch. I’m still in doubt if Voracious Hydra numbers 3 and 4 is better than Tolsimir, and the reason why I think so is because I don’t want to have 10 five-drops against an aggressive deck (though, granted, I could board out some Nissas). There isn’t much removal around, which makes Deputy an all-star, and I still think that Teferi is one of the best card in Standard and I want to play it in any deck that can cast it. First is Veil of Summer, which is too devastating of a trade, and makes me play too scared if I don’t have Teferi out. Having access to Teferi, Time Raveler and Deputy of Detention means that you’re not that bad against Scapeshift and Nexus, as you can deal with their threats as well as put up pressure with Nissa and Hydroid Krasis. At the time the deck was set up to get to the long game rather than race there. Surrak Caller of the Hunt might not be a very fashionable choice but the formidable clause on this card might mean that your brand new Eldrazi gets to rumble straight away. Winnower is a form of sift, something that separates things. We are the longest running Magic: The Gathering retailer in the UK, trading since 1998. It was just okay. You needed to have a plan against a huge number of Zombies, which Simic Steal just doesn’t have. This can be a wrath. You might even want to ramp into 2 or 3 of the things on the list in a single deck. It also works with the manifest creature you might have from the Whisperwood Elemental. It’s cheap compared to a lot of ramp choices, its double green shouldn’t be a problem and even the double red should be okay. I decided to give her a try, and Vivien was phenomenal! I have seen FNM players greedily hold onto sorcery speed X spell for too long instead of firing it off to kill a threat. I must say I’m not quite as sold as some I’ve talked to but I can see why it might be appealing. Basically this is another mid/late game crossover card. I was going to add Vivien Reid in my sideboard for Nexus and Esper Hero, but then when I typed Vivien, this card came up, and after reading it, it reminded me of Ajani, Adversary of Tyrants, which is one of my favorite cards to come out of the sideboard to fight those grindy matchups. This is hard for your opponent to deal with, even against counterspell it’s still a single 10/10. The second ability is also worth noting as the awoken lands are elementals too.
